The light strips themselves are great, stick well and are quite bright. However, one set of batteries only last 4 to 4.5 hours. I found an AC adapter that output 5 volts, removed the battery pack and wired the strip directly to the adapter, and now all is good. If you need to leave these strips on for any extended period of time, don’t use these unless you have the capability to rewire the to AC current.

Really wish these came with instructions that warned you not to put too much pressure when pushing the tape in place. They arrived on time and were put immediately to use.
They were to be used under shelving to add lighting to a crafting studio, but when unraveling the coil the tape was stretched and connector broke. I needed the full length of lights, not partial. I kept going in hopes of salvaging the remainder but as I set the last portion where the battery pack was located, the last connector broke. THat left one light and that was pointless.
The second coil was the only thing I had left so I took extra care putting it up since the first coil when straight into the trash. This went a bit easier and sadly does not provide enough light. Two would have been great which is why I ordered it but now I am stuck with one. I will try to find another place for these since I need more lighting. Will not order again.

Is the on off switch on the cover side of the battery case or the back side?
Answer: It’s on the back side

Can this be used in the shower?
Answer: It is battery powered so you won??t have to worry about electrocuted. The battery container is simple and definitely does not appear waterproof but could throw it in plastic bag, if I had to guess I would say the strip choice hold up unless submerged. Good luck
