If you want a basic white smart bulb, these are pretty good and bright. I use one in a reading lamp and like being able to ask Alexa to turn it on and off. I gave the bulb a name and can simply ask Alexa to turn on that name, and it works. If I want to do more complicated things, I tend to find I have to ask Alexa to ask Geeni to do it. These bulbs don’t seem so bright when used in a color mode like full red or green or blue, but the color itself is rich. So it’s not a washed out color, just rather a rich color that is not super bright. The Geeni app is not the most intuitive I’ve ever used, but I managed to set up Scenes or shortcuts that allow me to press one button in the app and dim all lights in a group, or turn them all off or on, or all to a color. And I was able to program the bulbs I put in my deck lights to come on at dark and go off at sunrise. I found the bulbs are much easier to set up if you use a lamp close to your router, then move the bulbs to wherever you plan to use them (after you have them on your home Wifi network). All in all, not a bad value when compared to the expensive Philips Hue bulbs. I’ve got about 7 or 8 bulbs in total of this type now in use, for maybe 3 to 6 months, and they have proven to be pretty stable for me.

Bought a 4 pack. Not many options for color. The white is the yellowing type not daylight, colors are not bright and doesn??t give u the option of changing brightness of colors. I thought you could combine lights so u dnt have to individually set them, maybe I can??t find the feature. Too bad because I have other Geenie products might have to whole new brand and return these. Don??t want so many apps. If you??re looking for bright colors then stay away. Easy install and set up

Customer Questions & Answers

Will Kasa app control these?
Answer: No they have their own app

How many bulbs can you control at once?
Answer:

Hi! There is no limit on the number of bulbs that you can control at once because there is a grouping functionality on the Geeni app. No matter how many bulbs you have, as long as they can be handled by the network that you are using, you have the option to group them so you can control them all at once. If you need ad??

Will these bulbs work in a full enclosure style fixture?
Answer: It says you are NOT supposed to put these bulbs in an enclosed fixture. They need to be able to breath, as the web-site puts it. So I would not put these in an enclosed fixture.
