I absolutely LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!! My friend gifted me a couple for my birthday, and I??ve bought another since. They take time to set up, so don??t get frustrated. I used the mode that required turning them on and off about six times to initialiate a slow blink and thy helped create the connection to the app. I love the colors and the dimming feature of the white light mode. If you??re big into themes, you??ll want to spend a little extra money on Hue lights, but if you??re content with a color wheel and dimming feature, this will makes you very happy.

Also, anyone logged in to your wifi will be able to control the lights if they download the app (iOS & Android works). This is great because my boyfriend can go into a different room and control the ones in there without interrupting my girl time 🙂

Another feature I LOVE is the automation. You can up one-click actions, like turn all lights on or off. I even have a couple automatic turn-on automations. The only note is that you have to add each action for each bulb when you set it up (but you can change the criteria at any time!).

Simply put, the bulbs don’t work.
They disconnect from the network at least once a day for no discernable reason. A quick search for troubleshooting ideas shows this is constant for all of Geeni’s products. Customer service is non-existent; I still have an open ticket in their app from a month ago that no one has rwsponded to. Looking at their forums, their only solution to this constant problem is resetting the entire network, which yeah allows the bulbs to reconnect, but doesn’t stop them from disconnecting again 20 minutes later.
When they work, they’re great and my kids love the color change aspect. Problem is, they never work.

Answer: Description states 800, also that is is equivalent to a 60W bulb. Also consider it is dimmable, so the lumens could be reduced.

Can i set it up with a chromebook and google home app?
Answer: Yes, you need the app in your Chromebook and then add it to you Google home app. I setup mine with my phone and then added them to my Google home app.

What are the actual dimensions of the bulb in inches?
Answer: Search online bulb size chart. These are A19’s so they are A19 bulb: 19/8 = 2-3/8? diameter.

Do they have a strobe feature? I want the colors to change rapidly.
