I’ve been wanting smart lights that fit my older ceiling fan. Happened across these during a search and was happily surprised that Geeni had them. I already use some of their products and familiar with their app. Setup was easy, but for some reason they weren’t recognized by my “G”-word Home app… sorry Amazon, not an Alexa user. Tried setting them up through the Smart Life app instead and everything works fine now. Tunable whites are great, colors are very nice, and they complete my final step to replace all the “dumb” lighting in my home. If I needed more, these would be my choice, again.

I have been using Geeni standard size lamp bulbs throughout my home for at least a year now and was excited to find candelabra size ones to finally be able to use them in one fixture without needing to use adapters. Bonus these were even on sale for Black Friday. They arrived and I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what but these strobe horribly (a major migraine trigger for me and a danger for epileptics in my extended family) whenever on white from the moment they are turned on. Getting them set up on my network did not solve the problem. Colors did not strobe, only when on white. So very disappointed. I have more than a dozen of the regular color switchable bulbs in my home with no problems with them, including in the same light fixture I tried to use these bulbs in. Definitely not a “plus” here.

Answer: Should but I??m not 100% sure

will this work with a light socket of 40 mA and 120 volts?
Answer: The bulb is rated 4W, 120V, per the specs provided. 4W is less than 40mA. Therefore they should work on in your light socket.

Will these work with Smartthings?
Answer: Yes.
