Love Govee products. I’ve tried many other types of lights – including rock lights and after market lights for my car – and nothing compares to Govee’s brightness, ease of use, and amazing app which opens up so many more possibilities of light usage and ideas. Long story short, when I lost my home and all of my belongings in Hurricane Ida, I decided for giggles, I’m going to take the light bulb out of the broken lamp before home demolishen – just to see if it still worked. That light bulb still worked after being in the rain and weather for over 2 months. Along with the light strip. The light strip pictured in the kitchen is the new one coinciding this review. The light bulb and light strip pictured in the bedroom are the old lights that was in my destroyed home. As you can clearly see. They still look like they’d be brand new.

Top Critical Review

My biggest two complaints are not all the lights light up and they are never all the same color. For example I would turn on blue but only half of the lights light up. They all light up for green but then I switch to white and half of them stay green. It’s ridiculous! Waste of time and money! The app is decent… Product is either poorly designed or I got a faulty product.

I want to cut it. where do I get additional power supplies?
Answer: The strip remaining after cutting can only be connected back to the RGB strip, and cannot be directly connected to power supplies.

Does it come with tape to stick to the wall?
Answer: This smart strip light is self-adhesive.

Can be use with 220V Outlet?
Answer: Yes. The adapter works with 100v-240v.

If I have excess and won??t be connecting, can I cut anywhere between the lights?
Answer: The directions show where you can cut.

is the light strip one piece 50ft long? I want to put the power box at one end and not in the center
