The lights look fantastic and there are a ton of features with the remote and phone app. My only knock is that it is very difficult with these types of lights to get a smooth glow unless hidden behind something. For my front fascia application, I bought a diffusers to place them in, but that only provided limited improvement.

(Install)
The lights were very easy to install because it has a fairly strong adhesion glue. I struggled slightly separating the protection strip from the glue backing. If this is your first time, realize that the control until sites in the middle of both strings of lights and you cannot Saturday chain them together. This requires some ingenuity when installing in the right location.

6 stars. With the Govee phone app, I’ve never seen so many lighting combinations. The app is pretty slick and allows not just color changes, but patterns, streaming, and audio based changes. In addition, you can add this to your home automaton or just have it come on based on a schedule.

(Value)
Strong value considering the string length, quality, and list of features. Definitely worth the purchase.

Top Critical Review

They sent two strips instead of one long one, which is misleading. The only hardware to connect them is at the power bar, but that only works if I have an outlet where they meet in the middle. I don’t. So, now I have to find and buy the hardware to splice and connect them, hoping I get the right thing. It would have been nice to know that, or to include it in the box.
