Got these for my son??s birthday! He loved them. I was even a tad jealous. They light up the room and change the room color completely. So many options and combinations too. Only downfall is it??s 2-50ft reels, but only 1 power supply and adapter. Without having wires going everywhere, we went behind the armoire and I was unable to run the lights under his bed like I wanted too. Looking to buy another adapter so the other 50ft reel doesn??t go to waste.

Ok for the bad first. When you connect them to the power supply they come with the voltage drop is so significant that they dim to about 50% by the time the power reaches the other end. I didn’t go the complete 50 feet i went about 45 and the difference is quite significant. I am going to have to order another power supply (well 2 because i have 100 feet total ran in room in different places). and add it in about half way to keep the brightness even.

Now for the good. The adhesive is much better then it use to be. I have used allot of led strips over the years and some have horrible adhesive. They seem pretty sturdy and the colors are good. The bluetooth on them works good and the app links multiple led drivers so you can change all the lights color and what not at once.
I cut one 50ft strip into many short pieces and have had no trouble so far.
They are not water proof and do not have the outer coating so there easy to solder to or use the adapters.

All in all they seem to work good but the brightness loss or voltage loss is not cool. Should come with 2 drivers or a more powerful one and this should be stated. It was very disappointing and i am glad i didn’t install them in channel or crown molding (thats the plan this was a test run) YOU WILL LOOSE ABOUT 50% BRIGHTNESS ON THE LAST HALF.

Answer: No, the LED lights have memory function, it will keeps the same you did last time.

Can i connect to make longer?
Answer: Sorry, there are two interfaces on the controller. It can connect two rolls at most, can’t be longer any more. You can buy the 100ft or 65ft in our store to meet your needs.

How can you put these ” over your entire house” with only one plug? Can i buy only plug tails for multiple locations?

I answered this question recently. Should be in Q&A section. You cannot use only one plug. There needs to be a plug in each room. These are great lights but you will need to spend a lot more to get lights in every room, working off of one control. Not sure if Amazon is the place to get them from either, especially if y??

will this work on any phone? I have an iphone 6 s and and i dont know if i can get the app on my phone i want to get the app before i purchase this.
