If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!!! I got 2, one for the top and one for the bottom of his costume. They are stupid crazy bright! One of the remotes had the battery strip pulled and was dead already, but the second remote worked for both. The remote was our only issue as it didn??t always work, but the light strip is crazy amazing! It stuck to the sweatpants and sweatshirt with ease and even though I threw a couple stitches in here and there to hold it on, they weren??t needed. My 5 year old ran and climbed everywhere for half a day and the adhesive didn??t come up in a single spot. I never thought sticky tape would stick to sweatshirt material, but it had no issues at all. I would buy this 100 times over again. It made for a cheap, easy, and fun costume! Plus the colors changed and he was always lit up and glowing. It was great!
Oh and we could trim it where needed and the battery packs fit nicely into the pockets.

Top Critical Review

Super disappointing product. Remote only works if you squeeze the bottom to force the battery to make contact. When you do that it does work, but it’s finicky so I wouldn’t consider that a “fix.” This is not a case of one lemon product. This is a manufacturing flaw. I imagine all of them will have this issue. Lights do light up and change colors as advertised, but the dimming function is so minimal it is not worth utilizing. The only part about this product that I like is the ability to use any USB power source or the battery pack, both seem to be functional options. Regardless, none of this matters with a worthless remote. Don’t buy this product, you’ll be disappointed. Unfortunately quality products in this category seem to be hard to come by.

Can I simply have only one color, can I get it to automatically go from bright to dim only one color? Battery powered.
Answer: you can have many colors. you can dim the light. yes, it is battery powered

Does it need to be plugged in?
Answer: Yes they need to be plugged in. I have been using these lights for like a year and love them the color is still bright I love them.

Does this come with tape or is it already stickers on the strips
Answer: 3M double sided tape on Light strips, Be sure to clean dust off back of TV or the tape will not stick.

is it waterproof and will it fit on a 22 inch penny board?
Answer: Don??t waste your money on these!! They??re broke after 2 days.
