Works perfectly with my Amazon Alexa. I tell her “Goodnight” and “good morning” to turn off and on. Couldn’t be happier. Great price and beautiful design. I’ve had them about a month with no problem.

BUYER BEWARE: Yes, it can be turned on/off, but you must download their Kasa app to install their device. The problem is the Kasa app requires that you leave your secured home network and connect to their unsecured internet! During that time, your connection is free-falling in the world of cyberspace. Every device that I purchased from them has to be connected this way. In my situation, this unsecured network connection resulted in a massive internet breach on my home network! It has been a nightmare to try and fix this breach, with many service providers trying to untangle this mess. We’ve had to get help from our internet service provider, email server, bank, identity thief servicer, cell phone providers to name a few and it’s still not fixed. Bottom line, I would NEVER purchase their products again. Do so at your own risk.

Will this product work with a 2 way switch?
Answer: No, it needs to be on or off…you control intensity from 1-100% from Kasa app, google home or alexa, works with all 3. Basically leave on all the time and turn off using one of the 3 aforementioned methods not by the switch.

How do i connect it to my alexa?
Answer: Hook it up to your Kasa app 1st and then you can add the device to Alexa
