Purchased the protection plan for a refurbished Makita drill. Makita is a good brand but had never bought a refurbished item before. I figured it was still a good buy for the drill even with the extra for the ASURION plan. As luck would have it the drill had a problem with the chuck 8 months after the purchase. ASURION made good on the purchase, I purchased another refurbished Makita drill ( this one has a heavy duty chuck and more power) of course at a higher price. So I decided to add ASURION’s protection plan to the replacement drill. While I hope I do not have to use the plan, it gives me peace of mind in the event their is a problem.

I have noticed over the years that when ordering Asurion you never say which product you are covering. This is very frustrating since there is no way to pair the item and coverage. Especxially in a multi item order.

Is there an extension to separate strips?
Answer: No, at this time there is no extention to seperate the light strips from each ohter.

Are these LED light strips dimmable ?
Answer: Yes, you can dim from 1-100%

Can i use any smart button or smart dimmer switch to turn on and off this light strip? similar to philips hue smart button and hue smart dimmer switch
Answer: You can use a regular switch to turn these on or off but DO NOT hook them up to a dimmer switch. Dimming is built into the product and a dimmer switch will cause problems.

Dim them through the app.

Does this model support the light restore settings which will restore the light to its previous power state if a power outage occurs?
Answer: Mine did after a hurricane.

Is there anyway to power this via usb with my tv?
Answer: No only with electricity… as per what comes with the device…
