Do it work with a metal wall plate? I saw some smart switch incompatible with metal wall plate due to interference… thanks
Answer: While Lutron does not recommend it (see their official answer), I have had no problem with using several Caseta switches and Pico remotes under brass wall plates. My hub is within 15 feet of all the devices. Were I to have issues, the wall plate is the first thing I would switch out.
Can you use it on one side of the 3way and use a regular 3way switch on the other end?
Answer: No, you can’t do that, because these Caseta dimmers are not actually 3-way switches. They can behave like 3-way switches when you use the Caseta Pico Remote on the other side. Here a video that shows you how to do that.

Is there a smart light switch that does not require a neutral wire?
Answer: Absolutely! The Lutron smart dimmer, does not require a neutral wire, and wires together similar to a normal switch, just be advised that this switch does not work with all LED frequency bulbs.
do i need a smart bridge to connect it to alexa
Answer: Yes, in order to control this product using Alexa you would need to also have the Caseta Smart Bridge
