protection plans are insurance. if you “protect” (insure) something that has higher odds of failure or specific vulnerability areas, such as fragile things like flat panel tv screens that could fall and break, or things that have moving parts, or things like weld spots on freezer coils, then you are unfortunately likely to be covered and “ahead” of the game. buying protection plans is gambling against the thing you buy, but with some things, it is best to gamble against yourself when the odds are already against you. I buy insurance on things that I have personal experience with, like counter top ice makers having freezer coil weld spots vibrating and causing holes in the coils, then failing, or things from companies that I am not sure about trusting. I don’t buy insurance on things I can fix or things not likely to break. I have never had an issue with asurion paying out on claims, so I will continue to buy asurion. So far, I have never had to send anything anywhere, except for a magnifying lamp, but decided to fix it myself and make some modification so cancelled the claim.

Purchased the extended warranty for my new power generator.
Two months in to my new purchase, I was experiencing a mechanical issue with it, and needed it repaired.
Apparently, the extended warranty will NOT take place UNTIL AFTER the “manufacturer’s” warranty is exhausted.
Sadly, the manufacturer’s warranty ONLY covers PARTS….
NO LABOR, NO SHIPPING

The “extended warranty” DOES… but NOT UNTIL the manufacturer warranty has ended.

I can not accurately give a “rating”, since they are not in the blame at THIS time.
Rep at the extended warranty company was very nice & pleasant to speak with, so I’ll at least give them a 3 of 5 star.

Will it work with headphones?
Answer:

The thing to keep in mind is that the Hue Play Gradient light strip requires also the use and separate purchase of the Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. The Gradient light strip connects to this sync box. The sync box connects to your TV. You then run whatever HDMI signal to the box.

In order for you to be using headphones, ??

will this work if I??m using the movie apps built into a smart TV?
Answer: Unfortunately I don’t believe so. It has to be paired with a Hue Sync, which uses HDMI input to match the colors to the display.

If I have a 32 inch curved monitor, will the 55 inch strip work? Or will the colors be off?
Answer: I would believe the colors are off, but there are options from Corsair or ROG where you can do the same without needing a playbox, hue hub and the light strip. It??s probably also way cheaper.

Does it come with gold???? Its 200 dollars on best buy , wy someone will pay you almost 500?????

Will the gradient feature still work without the sync box? if i’m ok with it not matching the tv? can i set the strip to different colors using an app
Answer: Unfortunately, it will not come with gradient features without the Hue Playbox. I know I was sad too. But you are able to change the color, it will just all be one solid color.
