Description

Technology can be scary, never knowing how difficult things will be to set up, but this was one of the easiest I have ever done. Literally took 2 minutes, and half that time was just installing the lightbulb into the socket!!
Here are the steps…
1) Download app and register an account
2) Screw in lightbulb and turn on wall switch
3) Open app, type in password to WiFi network. App recognizes device and on/off function through app is working
4) Go into Alexa app and add new device. Give permission for Sengled app.
5) Give device a name and I’m off and running with voice command.

This was truly easier than I thought it would be. Lightbulb with built in WiFi and no hub…how convenient is that!?! Bulb is plenty bright (60 watt equivalent). No flicker, no hum. And it’s dimmable (even with Alexa commands!). Highly recommended.

Top Critical Review

Don’t buy these…buy the Sylvania LED instead. These bulbs won’t stay connected to wifi, and the lag with Alexa controlling them is touch and go. I’m constantly having to go back and rejoin the bulbs to my wifi and to Alexa control. Not worth the hassle. Do they work with Eero wi fi ?
Answer: Yes

How is echo show 2nd gen to change different colors? it seems that you must use the sengled home app? will this become cumbersome.
Answer: It is controlled in many ways. You can use voice to control it in echo ALEXA.

Does it only turn on via wifi or can it also use regular electricity?
Answer: Uses regular electricity but just white light cant change settings without wifi connection.
