Great lightbulbs. 4 stars because this listing doesn??t make it clear that you have to purchase the smart hub to use with eco dot. After reviving and reading the listing extremely carefully there is no mention one way or the other. These bulbs will work with echo plus I believe but if you have a house full of eco dots like me it is only just a programmable lightbulb rather than a smart bulb. If you want that get the Wifi bulb. Also the Sengled smart hub has terrible reviews and is v. Expensive for what you get. This is a new product and while I try to be a very informed and well researched consumer this listing was sort of misleading. Bottom line: good product, only works with a smart phone app as programmable bulbs without an added outlay if cash.

UPDATE: One of the last two bulbs would not pair after dozens of attempts to reset and pair. Sengled Customer Service finally said they would process an RMA for a replacement bulb. After sending the laundry list of the required information and three required photos, it has now been over two months, and I have heard nothing else from them. I finally contacted Support three times and got canned replies about holidays, working as quickly as they can… BLAH BLAH BLAH. Bottom line: Customer Service and Support are as poor as their product and my advice to you if you buy this product and have a similar experience: RETURN IT TO AMAZON FOR A REFUND.

So disappointed in these Singled Classic Element bulbs. The app is horrible. The Alexa skill doesn’t discover them with the Echo Plus smart hub. There was NO documentation at all in the package. There was no support information on the errors I encountered when trying to link to my Amazon account via the Sengled Home app.

Of all the smart bulbs I have used that are Zigbee compatible, these are absolutely horrible. I have attempted to contact support via the website. That is the only thing that will prevent me from returning these “smart” bulbs.

Update: I finally got them to work after resetting every single one of them to factory. Got them paired witht he Echo Plus 2G hub by sitting the lamp right next to the Echo Plus hub.

Then stupidly bought two more after I figured out the secret handshake and password. But one of the two will not pair and tech support cannot figure it out. The light behaves as if it is pairing, but the Alexa app cannot find it. I have reset and attempted re-pairing at least two dozen times. I have one working and one not. Bought as a pair, will have to return both and find another brand to try. Fool me twice, shame on me.
