Let me start with the fact that I received this for free to participate in beta testing.
The testing is now finished, and I’m continuing to use the bulb. I initially was to use it with my Google Assistant / Home, and it worked well with that (once I figured things out). I’m now using it with my Alexa device(s) and all seems to be working well at least for turning on/off and changing color. I haven’t linked it via BT for music mode and don’t tend to use the scene function. I like the brightness of the bulb and the ability to dim it if desired, and to be able to control either through Alexa, Google or the Vont app.

12/12/2021 Update: Actually trying to set up schedules is futile since schedules only work when the app is connected to the internet and logged in to your user account, and the app has a tendency to log you out on its own daily.
Original: The bulbs themselves are pretty good. Bright enough for our needs. Not as bright as dedicated single-color LED bulbs, but that’s too be expected. What you lose in raw brightness you get in versatility.
The bulbs are easy to set up. But the app needs a lot of work. The real surprise is that you can’t be logged into the same account from two different devices at once. I was genuinely surprised when I found that out. So, for example, if I want to adjust the lights, either I would have to have my husband do it or re-log in to the app myself (and force him to get kicked off). This shortcoming alone will keep us from buying any more Vont lights until it’s fixed.
Another oddity with the app is that when you’re trying to set up a custom color or pattern in the “DIY” category, you can only pick a color by having the app load a picture (or take a picture with your phone’s camera) instead of selecting it from a color palette or similar. It’s odd and unwieldy, and the app tends to interpret blacks as lighter colors such as white when “picking” a color from a picture.
The actual hardware seems pretty good, but until the software catches up we’ll have to pass on upgrading the rest of our lights with Vont bulbs.

How do you use the schedule mode as there is no am/pm
Answer: There are two options for the time setting. Once you disable the 24-hour clock, it will then provide an option for am/pm option.
Is there a program for PC or only for phones?
Answer: As far as I am aware, there is no PC app, only phone app.
Any reason it can’t be used in a covered porch fixture?
Answer: This device is connected through Bluetooth for local access and WiFi for remote connection to access some features like rules. The covered porch fixture like glass, metal, etc., will interfere with the wireless frequency, so it will degrade the signal coverage that will cause the bulb will be unresponsive at some point.
