I??m a retired computer professional. I spent much of my career trying to convince engineers and tech people that the average person does not eat, sleep, and breathe tech. In the 80??s or early 90??s I was demonstrating a new feature from Apple called Drag and Drop. I showed one of our software engineers how I could move the pointer over a file; press and hold the mouse button and drag that fire to another folder and drop it there. His response was why would anyone want that. He could do the same thing with just a few dozen keystrokes. I mention this because this product is one I would have approved. If you can operate a smart phone, you can install and use these bulbs. I screwed the bulb in. It almost immediately began pulsing bright to dim. I opened the Gosund App on my Android Phone and asked it to add a bulb the new bulb appeared in seconds. Selected the bulb, selected the network, entered the network password and about one minute later, there it was. Named it and set up a schedule. It??s a porch light. So, off and on at the same times every day. Total time from screwing in the bulb to closing the Gosund App and putting my phone back on its charger, less than five minutes.

If you can play Angry Birds or Tetris on your phone, you can set up these bulbs. I recommend setting them up via the free Gosund App and managing them via Amazon Alex.

I purchased four of these light bulbs. Once app was downloaded it found the light bulbs and would not complete the install. It just wouldn??t complete install. This is not worth it. No customer service help at all as well. RETURNING IMMEDIATELY
