Thought I already reviewed these. I bought these for use in my bedroom September 29th of last year along with another set of 3 bulbs for another room. Within a month, one out of bulbs from the 4 pack failed. I contacted the seller and was immediately sent a replacement. Now, 7 months later, the other 3 bulbs from the 4 pack have failed. While they didn’t fail all at once, I didn’t put their replacement on the top of my “to do” list. After contacting customer service, on a Sunday, I received a prompt reply that they were sending 3 new bulbs. What else can be said? As far as functionality they have worked as advertised. The bulbs are easy to link with Alexa via the Smart Life app. The brightness and crispness of some of the colors isn’t perfect, but more than adequate for the price price. I am still giving them five stars for 2 reasons. The first is because of the outstanding customer service as was explained. The second is because of their overall functionality. While the 4 pack of bulbs were obviously faulty, the 3 pack have worked without fault.

I??m frustrated. I??ve had to reconnect my bulbs multiple times- every time anything changes in my home network- and each time, it has been incredibly difficult to pair, most recently taking a full hour before I gave up. Let??s be clear- I??m a computer person. I understand networks and connectivity. I troubleshoot things that aren??t working quite regularly and quite successfully. This is not something that troubleshooting is helping with. The bulbs?? signal is just too inconsistent, and the interface for connection is just not able to make up for it. The bulbs are on my network. I can see them in my router. Instead of looking for devices on the wifi to see if there are any listening connections, they instead try to broadcast their own weak wireless network that a phone is supposed to join and initiate connection that way. Which is fine to get the bulbs onto the wifi in the first place, but if they??re already connected to the network because you??ve struggled with this before, it??s like trying to lasso a stabled horse with a thin piece of string; it??s ineffective and pointless.
Also, the interface for changing colors, creating cycles of colors, and making other presets leaves a lot to be desired, but I??m not about to start another rant there. I only bought these because they were the only brand I could find that had this bulb-type. If you??re looking for a standard colorful led bulb, just go with the bigger brands and save yourself the hassle. Your time is worth it.

Customer Questions & Answers
All of sudden some of my bulbs have lost wifi connection. i can have a set of four in a fixture but two lost wifi. why? what can i do to reconnect.
Answer: They need to be reset. Unscrew and screw back in each bulb 3 times to simulate off-on-off-on-off-on and the bulb will blink. Then use the app to discover the bulb again. I’ve had this happen to me twice with these, but my fixture has 9 bulbs… 🙁
What app should you use for these?
Answer: You can use the Smart Life, Tuya or even the Feit app. I’m using the Feit app. That way all my bulbs are in the same place.
What does left time mean in the app? Also is there a way to set the lights to gradually fade to off on a schedule instead of just turning off?
Answer: Dear Tyler, If you set the left time to one minute, the smart light bulb will turn off after one minute. We are so sorry that you can not set the lights to gradually fade to off on a schedule.
