What can you say for a product that delivers what it promises at a great price. I have a lot of “smart” devices in my home and lights is one of the things I like to have setup in every room so I can walk in and say “Alexa, den on” (or if all I want is the lights I can say lights on). Maybe it is just the geek in me from watching too many future space episodes but the day has arrived where you can do this at a very low cost so I use it . These lights hook up to a well known APP (Smart Home) and they also hook into Alexa which responds to my voice commands so for PERFORMANCE + VALUE + EASE OF USE this becomes and easy 5 Star rating

I thought I’d delve into the smart bulb world when I saw this deal – I had a little bit of an issue when I was first trying to connect them.. they timed out even though I was right under it with my bluetooth on. I liked the ability to create scenes, change the brightness and color temperature. I also made a few shortcuts so that they would turn on when I came home at night. When they are connected, this works great, and they work well with Alexa. But they go offline ALL. THE. TIME. If you’re near them and have your bluetooth on, they’ll reconnect. To save battery, I do not keep my bluetooth on. And even if I did, that’s worthless if you want the light to turn on when you’re not home.
So I know what you’re thinking – these bulbs are probably in spotty range of his router – All of my bulbs are practically within sight of my router.
I contacted Amazon, who had never heard of such issues with this product, and sent me a replacement pack.. maybe I got a bad batch. Well.. same exact issues with new pack. I’m sending them all back for a more reputable brand.

Can it still be turned on and off via light switch if Wi-Fi goes down?
Answer: When there’s a loss of WiFi you just have to turn the switch on and off to trigger the light to come on… Because the switch should already be in the on position and you use the Wi-Fi to turn it off…. So turning the switch on and off once or twice triggers to light to come on outside of it scheduled Wi-Fi program

Do you just screw the smart bulb in any socket? Or does that have to be changed also?
Answer: yes, just screw the smart bulb into a standard E26 socket.
