Super easy to setup! Once you scan the code, it automatically sets up. My best recommendation is to make sure you are on 2.4ghz wifi. The way I’ve found to set this up is..typing in your IP address, which takes you to your router. You are able to enable guest wifi (which for me my guest wifi is 2.4ghz) and change the name so it’s easier to identify on your connections list. Once you do this and setup the connection on the app, you are able to select guest wifi and connecting the bulbs is a breeze! Once this task is completed, alexa should discover it almost instantly and you can add a room. I can’t help with Google home because I don’t use it but it works phenomenally with Alexa. Super happy with my purchase! I love dimming the bulbs to around 15% at dinner. Very calm ambiance. ??

So my main complaint is the cheap build of the bulb. One has already shattered as I was simply moving my standing lamp, and the glass of one of the bulbs fell off the bulb and shattered on the floor. No injuries but it was not fun trying to get the bulb remnants out of the socket.

Otherwise this worked with alexa. The QR code worked for the first bulb, but consecutive bulbs gave me the error “bulb already added” so I had to add them via the LinKind app bulb’s wifi.
