Ordered 4 bulbs for my apartment and absolutely love the new ambient lighting change! At first I struggled pairing the bulbs to my wifi, and it was only because they were not connecting to the 2.4Ghz wifi but to the 5Ghz. After configuring my router and setting up a Guest Wifi that runs on 2.4Ghz, I was able to pair everything and good to go! Overall setup is easy, just follow the instructions carefully when syncing. Takes a few tries at first, but don’t give up! Its totally worth it! Love that it comes with numerous lighting setups and will definetly have fun during the night!

This is a security issue. I had 4 of their bulbs programmed to turn on at night for security reasons. All of them went offline and stopped working at the same time. All of my Phillips Hue bulbs continued to work as they have been doing for years. Phillips Hue bulbs cost more, and now I have learned why. I will never buy LE bulbs again.

They flat out stopped working . Four bulbs 4 failures. They suck. Completely stopped working for me after working great for 2 months. No network changes, but there was a firmware update. They are now much more secure because even god cannot exert control over these POS’s

Wow these bulbs do everything the more expensive Hue bulbs from Phillips do, only they are much less expensive and they do not require a hub. They work with Alexa like the Hue bulbs do, but they go further in that they provide status information back to your phone app. If I tell Alexa to make the bulb green, the app on my phone changes and shows that the light is on and the current color is green. Hue bulbs can’t do that at all; you can change the color but you can’t tell the current status of the bulb with Phillips Hue. You can also program the LE bulbs to do anything like turn on or off, dim, or change color based on a number of events such as whether it is raining, snowing, or based on the sunset or sunrise. You tell it where your location is and that opens up these features.

I bought a 4 pack on prime day and now I am ready to buy more. This is sooooo cool I can’t tell you. They also have LED strips that you can use that change color the same way on command or you can program them. Imagine how cool that would be for Christmas and Halloween displays.

What you need to know: If it doesn’t work for you right away you should be patient. So at first I could not change colors with Alexa. I PM’d LE tech support on Facebook and they responded the same day. They offered suggestions that worked. So the bottom line is LE does support their product and they do so in a very friendly way.

Great product. Buy buy buy!

Customer Questions & Answers

Can I sync these light bulbs with my strip lights so I can control them together via device management?
Answer: No you can not. You have to hook each one to Alexa or Google and then group both strip light and bulbs together from there under a group name you create which will THEN allow you to control them together . Hope this helps

How do I get 2.4 WiFi?
Answer:

You may not think your router has 2.4 GHz but it probably does since all wifi routers have 2.4. The newer ones have 2.4 and 5. I have a TP-Link Deco mesh wifi router so that means it has to use only one SSID for both. The app provided does allow you to turn off the 5 GHz frequency, so do other brands like Eero. You hav??

Iam looking for automatic color change option in its app, do we have it?
Answer:

If you just want to change the color of one bulb, to a fixed one, you just tap that bulb, turn it on and click the Color tab at the top. Then move the color wheel to the desired color, then the Saturation slider at the bottom to the desired color/white level.

If you want to change many bulbs, you’ll need to find the??
