Chose to Install on back of tv. Looped around once and then did a loop on the center back of tv too. Held down strip light control button for 5 seconds. LEDs flashed red. Chose to use SmartLife app. The SmartLife app auto detected device for setup. Then in Alexa app, added device by detection. I setup routines in Alexa app for theater mode, normal mode and goodnight mode; working with the other WiFi Smart lights in the same room. Very fast setup and working flawlessly!

These are fun. I received these as a free promotion to test and I have to say they work fairly well. Adhesion is good and the brightness is also good.. installation was a little weird for me at first but after a minute I got the hang of installing them.. I don’t bother with the music feature as it’s annoying to have to set the phone by the music source and it doesn’t even sync well. The lights are dimmable and the color controls respond well. My only gripes are the length you get for the price there are other products that give much more (over 80 ft) length for the same price. The color reproduction is a bit off as well since the blue leds over power the red ones so when setting the color to “white” you get blue instead. Change the color wheel to red and push it from white to a little pink and you can get close to white. I personally wouldn’t buy these even though they are a good product because there are better options available for the same price.

Answer: Yes, our smart led strip lights can be cast into epoxy resin, provided that you can dispense evenly. We are not responsible for any damage caused by this action.

Where do I find the mac address?
Answer: You’d have to connect it, and find the Mac on your router connections.

Can I buy another plug to use with my leftover lights?
Answer: I dont think they sell the adapter nor the driver on it??s own, but you can buy the connector elsewhere. You??ll need to do a little soldering though, so it??s not that straightforward.
